Not everyone will come to a settlement agreement under the Offer in Compromise program. In cases that cannot be settled between the IRS and the taxpayer, a payment arrangement is another plausible option to help keep you on track to pay off the debt you owe.

The downside, of course, is that you will continue to accrue penalties and interest until the debt is paid in full. As a client of DFW TaxMan, we will do everything we can to negotiate the removal of penalty fees if we set up a payment plan for you.
